June 10, 2025:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host the Celebrating Your Gyros to share books that have inspired you or introduced you to new heroes from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at The Corner Pub, 3271 W Iles Ave, Springfield, Illinois.

June 11, 2025:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host the Celebrating Your Gyros to share books that have inspired you or introduced you to new heroes from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at The Country Kitchen, 1025 W Spresser St, Taylorville, Illinois.

March 12-13, 2026:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 57th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2026.
