October 8, 2024:  East Central-EIU Reading Council will host AI In the Classroom with Tim Wheeler from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Eastern Illinois University, Buzzard Hall, 1920 9th Street, Charleston, Illinois.

October 25, 2024:  East Central-EIU Reading Council will participate in Mattoon’s Trunk or Treat from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Broadway Avenue in Mattoon.

October 25, 2024:  East Central-EIU Reading Council will participate in Charleston’s Scare on the Square from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on the Square in Downtown Charleston.

March 1, 2025:  East Central-EIU Reading Council will host the Literacy & Learning Conference with Candace Fleming from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at Eastern Illinois University, Buzzard Hall, 1920 9th Street, Charleston, Illinois.

March 13-14, 2025:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 56th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2025.
