October 8, 2026:  Northern Illinois Reading Council will host 50 Nifty Picture Books to Ramp Up Your Read-Aloud Routine with Maria Walther from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Pizza Villa, 824 W Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, Illinois.  

March 11-12, 2027:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 58th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2027.
