Upcoming Events

February 28, 2026:  East Central-EIU Reading Council will host the Literacy & Learning Conference from 8:45 am to 12:20 pm at Eastern Illinois University, Buzzard Hall, 1920 9th Street, Charleston, Illinois.

March 12-13, 2026:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 57th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2026.

April 21, 2026:  East Central-EIU Reading Council is planning a “Grown-Up Book Fair” at Warren James Winery in Mattoon!  The Literary will set up a book fair and give book talks to get everyone’s summer TBR pile stocked and stacked!
