Ecowriting for Sustainable Futures: Nature Drawing By Rebecca Woodard and Kristine M. Schutz
Document: Column
Introductory Paragraph: This column supports the use of literacy-based climate pedagogy to support educators in designing and implementing opportunities for young people to explore issues of environmental sustainability and climate change. In each issue this year, we introduce readers to possibilities for engaging young people in different kinds of ecowriting. This first installment introduces readers to ecowriting and shares two examples of nature drawing—one with preK children and another with children in the elementary grades.
