September 21, 2023: Secondary Reading League (SRL) will host Back To School Book Talks from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Harvey's Tales, 216 James St, Gevenva, Illinois.

October 30, 2023:  Secondary Reading League (SRL) will host Day of Reading:  Growing a Culture of Literacy with Adam P. Schmitt from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Northern Illinois University, Naperville Campus, 1120 E Diehl Rd, Naperville, Illinois. 

February 3, 2024:  Illinois Reading Council will host the Illinois Reads Book Festival from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood Drive, Westmont, Illinois. 

March 14-15, 2024:  Secondary Reading League (SRL) will host the SRL Strand at the 2024 IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.

March 14-15, 2024:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 55th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2024.
